Shorthand for Windows^TM
How to Send Your System Configuration

Please follow these steps to email your Shorthand System Configuration to us:

STEP 1: Start the Shorthand program.

If Shorthand is already running, skip to Step 2.
If Shorthand is not running, launch Shorthand by double-clicking on the Shorthand "SH" Desktop Icon.

(NOTE: If you don't have the Shorthand program, you can download it from https://www.pcshorthand.com/sh10dnload.html )

Shorthand will do one of these:

If your license has expired or if you have a trial license, Shorthand automatically displays
either the About window or the Shorthand Registration Box.
If you see either of these windows, skip to STEP 4 or STEP 5.
If you have a valid license, Shorthand displays a brief splash window then automatically hides itself. Continue on to Step 2.

STEP 2: Bring up the Shorthand Main Window.

When Shorthand is running you should see a small "SH" icon in the Windows System Tray (the small panel located at the bottom right corner of your screen).

Click on the small Shorthand "SH" icon in the Windows System Tray to bring up the Shorthand Main Window:

STEP 3: In Shorthand's main window, select About from Shorthand's Help menu.

STEP 4: Click the REGISTER button at the bottom of the ABOUT window.

STEP 5: Click the SYSTEM CONFIGURATION button at the bottom of the Registration Box window.

STEP 6: Copy and email the System Configuration to us.

Click the "COPY TO CLIPBOARD" button at the bottom of the System Configuration window
and send the contents of the System Configuration to us:

In your email program, create a new message.
In the email message, press Shift+Insert to paste the System Configuration text into the message.
Send the message to OfficeSoft at help@pcshorthand.com
